Introduction

By accessing or using Regexflux, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Service Description

Regexflux is a free online regex testing tool provided for educational and informational purposes. Features include real-time match highlighting, capture group visualization, pattern explanations, code generation for multiple programming languages, and a curated pattern library. All pattern matching runs client-side in your browser.

Service Availability

Regexflux is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code comprising Regexflux are owned by Edison Forge. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, personal, non-commercial license to use the service. The regex patterns you create using the tool are yours. The curated pattern library is provided for educational and reference purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the service content without prior written permission.

Regexflux is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Regex matching results are not guaranteed to be accurate across all regex engines and programming languages. Users must test patterns in their target environments before using them in production. Regexflux does not provide professional, legal, or technical advice.

Operator

Regexflux is a product of Edison Forge, an individually operated business (sole proprietor/DBA) located in Beaverton, Oregon. By using this site you acknowledge that you are dealing with an individual operator, not a corporation or LLC, and that the limitation of liability and disclaimer provisions above reflect this.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edison Forge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to errors in regex matching, software bugs, or any reliance placed on results provided. Your sole remedy is to stop using the site.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Edison Forge from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Washington County, Oregon.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Edison Forge regarding your use of Regexflux. They supersede any prior communications or agreements on this subject.
